GLOCAL CAMP - CANARY ISLAND
We still are in a moment where we need to meet to work on placefulness more than launch formats, in l’Hospitalet - Barcelona was very effective to launch the idea with the occasion of the last glocalcamp but maybe now we need to concretize.
Also we have to deal with the fact that not everybody will be there, also at the same moment.
We state that in general, and also in the context of this GlocalCamp everyone is free to bring activity of placefulness, but we can say that there won’t be a structuring workshop of placefulness itself, focused on what is its identity, its activities and its objectives, and how the interaction within methodologies happens.
We are thinking about the need we have to meet to focus deeper goals, objectives, concepts of placefulness. At the same time is important to be focused on how we create the synergy between technics and different approaches to placefulness, and it’s very important to focus on which is the value of this synergy beyond the exchange of knowledge or methodologies between us.
Once we have clear this value we can also have an idea of what we can offer and we can develop an economic sustainability on our activity.
On the next meeting we’ll be developing this meeting, trying to find a moment for end of May and June 2018
Meanwhile Mario will open a document to work on a common proposal on Alicante
We understand that we have a lot of freedom in developing the concept of Placefulness because of this situation where we don’t have any pressure of developing projects, but at the same time we need to understand how to put o value the transdisciplinary approach and the work we are doing in tangible actions.
Beyond the actions above, we’ll try to use our digital channels (discourse, telegram, slack) to share more ideas, intuitions, approaches and thoughts that we can have, in order to have a discussion flow not closed in the formats of the meeting (hangouts or physical)
Next meeting will be**Monday 19th of March at 9.00 A.M.** in Hangout
